Becki Newton

Becki is a native of Guilford Connecticut. At the age of 13, Becki began to perform in local shows, such as the community theater and summer stock. As she studied European History at Penn, she also spent a few semesters in Europe. Becki relocated immediately to NYC following her graduation to pursue Broadway. Following her appearance in many national commercials and guest starring roles, including Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), as well as American Dreams (2002), she landed the role of Amanda in Ugly Betty (2006). Her brother Matt Newton is an actor and her partner Chris Diamantopoulos. They're pretty, but not supermodels. This is a good thing because I don't have to worry about the red carpet or work, since I'm not a professional. In terms of my beauty, I am open to trying the new stuff. Beauty makes you smile! The process of preparing for your day is not about being unruly. The focus is on self-care. There's no harm in having a few moments of fancies.
